Atoms and things
Atoms are mainly empty space.
We can only generalize the location of things in the quantum level.
Is time (and space) relative to how small you are looking at something?
World Hunger
In order to solve world hunger, must you have experienced poverty and hunger?
If you are in a society of plenty, are you equipped to think on a grand scale?
Must you have first hand knowledge of any problem you wish to solve?

Social Justice
Haven’t seen any posts on Tumblr about this, so I will ramble about it for awhile. If you look at your life here in the Western world, you feel something. Beneath whatever standard of living you have, what religion, what color of your skin, what your lineage is, or what your thoughts are about what is going on right now: You feel that something is wrong with the world.
You might not be...

It's Not Always About You...But Isn't It?
Drama. It’s an inevitability when there are two people that exist in close proximity to each other. I was thinking about drama in my small circle of friends, and went off to my mancave and thought about it. What it boils down to is perspective.
When you approach problems, you come at it with your own experiences, values, preferences, what have you. You have preconceived notions. If you have...
If I was a billionaire...
I would buy every single thing they advertise on TV.
I would wake up from my Tempurpedic bed and get some reps in on my Total Gym and use the Shake Weigh because my arms and chest are particular trouble spots.
After the sweaty workout, I’d take a shower in whatever the hell this is > and towel off with my custom, monogrammed beach size Shamwow .
To clear out the morning dragon...

Rant With An Ambiguous Title
I am proposing to everyone a very specific situation or person or characteristic that I hate. The object of my rant is something I feel strongly about. I will now explain how I came to these conclusions, usually with a story, or an event, and how it effected me. The story is partly true, so I will embellish it for purposes of relating to most of you. I will sometimes use formatting to break up the...
Having said that...
My goal was always to build relationships, i.e. have an equal number of followers as I follow. I got caught in the star game. I thought @ replies and DMs were too “spammy”. I see that was probably why I haven’t reached my goal. I vow that when I start tweeting again, it will be a more active endeavor. I will continue to star out of habit, but people may start seeing more replies...
I thought the star talk had subsided, but I guess...
I’m not boycotting Twitter or anything, but I do want to let the whole star thing from people I follow peeter out until I start tweeting again. In the meantime, just a few thoughts.
I think there are several goals people set when it comes to favrd and stars.
Have tons of followers
Be on the leaderboard
Be followed by popular favrd people
Make friends
Find new funny people
Refresh your...
Perspective
From the outside looking in: “Who gives a fuck?”
From the inside looking out: “Fuck you!”
From the inside looking in: “Fuckers! Amirite?”
From the outside looking out: “Holy fuck! There’s fucking trees outside my window!”

We should be jetpacking at 200 yrs old.
You bring up some good points. I’d like the opportunity to address them, if for amusement only.
I agree that intelligence comes with study, repetition, strict diligence, etc. If you work hard at anything, success is the natural outcome. In school, we are sponges, soaking up information that was previously unknown to us. Education has a place in everyone’s life from kings to paupers....

Recently, I’ve been thinking about the potential of the human mind. Some questions that I ask myself:
What if people used their free time to think about the real un/solvable problems in the world? Instead of war and materialism, what solutions could we come up with that would benefit humankind if we put our collective minds to it?
How many great minds do we lose because of war, poor...

Him: “Hey, why don’t we use our points from Chase Sapphire and take a break”
Her: “We can’t.”
Him: “Sure we can. We can use our points for just about anything.”
Her: “I know.” (shows off dress she’s wearing)

@shitmydadsays
I first heard about @shitmydadsays on Tumblr. Someone had posted a screenshot of one of his tweets. It seems to me that it spread that way, via blogs, rather than on the site itself. People saw that, were intrigued, and started following him. More than likely, followers were unaware of the whole Favrd / Favstar phenomena. Well, if that is how it’s done, why not take screenshots of people we...
